Description

Over 905 steps to the top of Uetliberg! This trail is named after Felix Denzler (1863-1917), a baker from Zürich. From his bakery he delivered the daily bread on the most direct and steep forest trail up to the guesthouse Uto-Kulm. Some traditions speak of over 4000 ascents with some extra kilos of bread on his back!

Traildescription

Amazing, how fast you're out of the city and surrounded by nature on this trail! From the tram stop Albisgüetli the route goes via Cholbenhof Denzler into the forest. The trail is partially labeled with "Denzler Weg", partially with "D.W.". About 900 steps and 370 meters higher you find yourself on Mount Zurich - the Uetliberg to enjoy the view over the city and towards the Alps.
